Origin Story: Cool Chops - The Paradise Maker’s Tale

There once was a little girl who lived where the ocean met the sky. Her playground was endless sand, her lullaby the waves saying goodnight.

Her parents threw the most iconic parties in their favourite gathering places, where grown-ups traded stories and strangers became friends with giddied faces.

After school, she'd race to the water, no clock or phone telling her when to stop. Just the sun and tides as timekeepers, while she paddled and played in her ocean spot.

Adventure called her name to distant shores— from Hawaii's gentle stars to Brooklyn's endless nights, each place teaching her new ways to make moments feel more right. In those New York days, a dream called The Spott took shape, waiting patiently for Byron Bay to bring it to life.

Years passed and her family grew, but she never forgot that feeling— of freedom, of salt-kissed air, of choosing moments from tomorrow for stealing.

She learned that paradise plays by its own rules— ones you can't tell your mother (unless she’s really cool), where one perfect moment leads to risks worth taking, and every sunrise tells tales of memories worth making.

'What if,' she wondered one sparkling day, watching bubbles dance in her glass, 'We could bottle this paradise?'

So she found Australia's best in class coconut brew, added effervescent magic, and then watched the dream come true.

She called it Sandboy, a namesake for the child who once played without care, for everyone who knows paradise has no rules—just standards to share.

Remember: the best stories start naturally, just like the tides rolling in— where one perfect moment leads to another, and that's where leisure begins.

For Pete and Mary, who taught her that paradise isn't a place, it's a feeling you create.
